Building Resilience in Times of Change When facing an unexpected complication, like a cancer diagnosis, it can feel like your life is careening out of your control. In this workshop, Grace McCubbin will offer insights and practical guidance on cultivating resilience in the midst of uncertainty. Drawing from personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of self-care, support networks, and positive mindset, the goal is for participants to feel empowered to face life's changes with courage and embrace their journey with determination. By reframing setbacks as opportunities for growth and embracing a resilient mindset, we can harness the inner strength to navigate life's tragedies and triumphs, finding moments of joy amidst the challenges and emerge stronger on the other side. Featuring: Grace McCubbin, Mom of a sudden cardiac arrest survivor, daughter of both a cancer victim and a cancer survivor, public speaker, mental health warrior, fierce advocate for access to AEDs in public spaces.
